Abstract
The 2024 Global Status of CCS report showcases significant year-on-year momentum for CCS projects globally, as governments and industry around the world collaborate to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reach net-zero as quickly as possible. The 2024 report findings show strong growth in CCS projects across all stages of development, with global CO2 capture capacity on track to double to over 100 million tonnes per year (Mtpa) of CO2, once facilities currently under construction commence operation.
