AbstractA new synthetic approach was followed for the preparation of mesoporous titania, where polyethylene glycol-400, a water soluble polymer was employed as hydrolysis retarding agent. Mesoporous titania was characterized by low angle XRD, N2 adsorption, transmission electron microscope and thermal analysis, which confirm the formation of mesophase and also the thermal stability of the prepared material.
