Abstract
Mesoporous SAPOS (average pore redius 30 A)have been synthesized using micellar arrays of templates. The synthesized SAPOS have benn charecterized by XRD, TGA, sorption and MAS NMR techniques. There i sno evience of Si-O-P linkages in this material. The distribution of Si around Al ion was studied by calcination at high temperaures. The possibility of synthesizing mesoporous SAPO with Si rich regions, possesing lesser acidity than the zeolites will open up new avanues for their techical avanues
