Abstract

this is an article from Langmuir The model system Rh/SiOx/n- or p-Si(lll) was studied. Charge transfer from the support to the metal was ascertained in the Rh/SiOx/n-Si(lll) system by evaluating the Rh MsN^N^g Auger peak shift and the XPS binding energy shift of Rh 3d6/2. Results are discussed together with consideration of a cluster model for the SMSI.
