Abstract
This collection of lectures provides summaries of fairly recent progress in various branches of chemistry and is of a moderately advanced standard. It should therefore be of special service to those whose attention is of necessity confined to some particular field, but who wish to keep in touch with other branches of their subject. Contemporary Developments in Chemistry: Lectures delivered at Columbia University in the Special Course in Chemistry given in the Summer Session of 1926 on the occasion of the Opening of the Chandler Chemical Laboratories.
