Abstract

The design and fabrication of a bio analogous electrode consisting of segment of single strand DNA-Zn porphyrin-Pt on carbon (referred as PIV catalyst) have been shown. The system showed ORR activity comparable to that of the commercial electrocatalyst (20 wt.% Pt 10 wt.% Ru/C) even at as low as 1 wt.% Pt
