Abstract
Simultaneous incorporation of AI and Ti in the MFI-type framework is demonstrated by XRD, i.r. 2ssi,and 27AI MAS n.m.r, techniques. The evidence for the presence of both AI and Ti in the silica matrix hasbeen obtained by 2ssi MAS n.m.r, as well as by framework i.r. (960 cm-1), XRD (unit cell expansion),ion-exchange capacity (K÷/AIO2 - = 0.96), and catalytic properties for acid and oxidation functions in aluminotitanium silicate (AI-TS-1) molecular sieves.
